I am a qualified and experienced teacher, having been an Acting Head Teacher in a special needs school, as well as  a Head of Department for Maths and Creative Arts. My eclectic education means that I have a wide interest in many subjects and can use this to help engage students in learning using lots of creative ways. I tutor Maths, English Language and English Literature from basics to GCSE level. As I am also a qualified dance teacher and a Fellow of the UKA (United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing), I also tutor Acting, Drama, Dance and Film studies to higher levels.

I have advanced training in NLP and life coaching to help students overcome blocks and enjoy their learning by feeling confident in their abilities. I have taught students with Autism (ASD), ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, FASD, SEMH concerns to name a few. My experience in special needs means that I understand all the challenges faced by students and their families with education, and will always strive to find a way though, to make progress at the student's pace. I also have 2 children of my own with special needs so I understand the 24/7 complexities and challenges these children face.
